Why Calabogie ?

Calabogie is a four season destination. It is a recreational paradise with so many activities that you can enjoy all year round.  From down hill skiing in winter at the Calabogie Peaks Skii Hill (the largest vertical drop in Eastern Ontario)  to race car driving at the Calabogie Motor Sport in the summer, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Neats cafe, concert and local food

Attend a concert at the Neats Cafe with your team and it will feel like a private performance due to its intimate size.  The Neats Eatery and Cafe is a live music venue that books names like the Trews, Tokyo Police Club, July Talk, to name a few. You must book your tickets in advance to get in with your team. Also take the donner option and make it an entire evening out. You will be glad you did!

Located 50 minutes north of Calabogie, Wilderness Tours operates Wild water rafting in the summer and fall season.

Down hill skiing, cross country skiing, and snow shoeing

For down hills skiing Calabogie Peaks is Eastern Ontario’s largest mountain and is only 10 minutes from the Larimar Retreat. You can sign up for ski lessons for your group or just purchase lift tickets and take to the slopes. For cross country skiing, bring your own equipment and enjoy the K & P trails during the winter months. Snow shoeing is also fun on the frozen lake.
