Events at Larimar Retreat
Larimar Retreat (Larimar) is a unique year-round lakefront experience like no other! Host your indoor events for 20-30 people in a dedicated event hall for corporate retreats, wellness retreats (such as the Nordic inspired winter wellness hot-cold rituals), team building exercises, meetings, micro-weddings, baby showers, small intimate cocktail party, family get together, retirement parties, etc. We also offer photo shoots, recording studio and movie filming on property all with private lakefront and the most spectacular lake views!
This unique space is located in a recently renovated beautiful 4,500 sq ft A frame chalet. We also offer overnight accommodations for up to 20 guests in 2 lakefront chalets.
In addition to the indoor space there are additional outdoor amenities that you can add to your rental all year long. A fully covered four-season outdoor kitchen provides convenience of meal preparation (cook your own meals), while an outdoor spa with hot tub and Finnish sauna provides the perfect place to enjoy the healing benefits of the many spa rituals (Thermotherapy, Chromotherapy, Aromatherapy, Sound Therapy, Physical Therapy, etc. ) in an intimate private setting surrounded by nature. A seasonal (winter only) fire pit outside the beautiful double French doors of the Larimar is a warm invitation to experience the outdoors, so come and enjoy!

This space in name and design is patterned on the blue Larimar stone which is best known to be a healing stone. Larimar is known to help stress-related imbalances, general anxiety and panic attacks. It works by bringing balance and harmony with your energies to achieve overall calm, relaxation and unity within oneself.
As opposed to a vacation, which is quite simply a time off from everyday routine, retreats are purposeful getaways that are aimed at rescuing you from your everyday hectic lifestyle and whisking you off to this exotic location to reset, rejuvenate and reconnect.
6-Person Finnish Sauna

Our Finnish sauna and Nordic spa hot tub offer an incredible way to refresh and revitalize—even in colder months. Try the Nordic cycle: heat in the sauna (enhanced with aromatic essential oils), cool down outside in the fresh air or a cold rinse, then relax in the hot tub or in the Larimar Retreat.
The Larimar Retreat is the perfect place to unwind, featuring a pool table, table tennis, hammocks, lounge chairs, and a Keurig coffee machine for tea, coffee, or hot chocolate. Play a game, sip a warm drink, and let the Bluetooth speakers and Alexa set the perfect vibe.

Year-round Indoor and Seasonal Outdoor Events
The heated indoor year-round event hall will provide you with options for hosting your special events any season of the year.
For Fall and Spring months, the beautiful grassy lawn is adjacent to the event space and will provide you with additional space to accommodate even larger seasonal gatherings outdoor.
Winter is the best time for hosting an event at the Larimar Retreat since it offers the most amenities and activities of all the seasons of the year. The heated event hall hosts 20-30 guests. The covered outdoor kitchen with a BBQ grill, (griddle and rotisserie attachments) allows year round meal preparation. A separate adjoining covered DIY Spa (8 person hot tub and 6 person Finnish wet sauna) offers the winter wellness retreats such as Nordic inspired wellness rituals that will leave you feeling refreshed and invigorated.
The beach area with gazebo and patio is also great to host beach weddings and corporate events.

- A large 4x8 table suitable as a head table (comfortably seats 4 people on one side) or can be used as a buffet table for serving your food
- Bar with a cocktail shaker set
- 8 folding tables and 30 folding event chairs (in storage bin)
- Basic amplifier for streaming music from your phone to the ceiling speakers
- A projector and screen
- We also offer a Wedding and Accommodation Package, a Wellness Package as well as add-on . (e.g. Premium add-on, Dance Party add-on, Media add-on, Breakdown and Clean Up add-on, etc.) so you can tailor your experience to meet your need and budget
DIY Spa
The Larimar Retreat is perfectly located adjacent to the 250 sq. ft. outdoor covered DIY Spa (which boasts an 8 person hot tub and a 6 person Finnish sauna overlooking the beautiful lake) and when rented together with the Larimar Retreat is the perfect combined space for hosting a private spa party or a wellness retreat.
The Revitalizing Cycle
A three-step ritual based on a 2,000-year-old Nordic tradition, designed to enhance relaxation, boost circulation, and promote overall well-being. To experience the full benefits, follow the steps below and repeat the cycle three times.
Step 1: HOT (10-15 minutes)
• Enter the Finnish sauna and bring a towel to sit or lie on.
• Turn on the chromotherapy lights to enjoy the benefits of light therapy.
• Add water to the sauna rocks using the ladle and bucket provided.
• Enhance your experience by adding a few drops of essential oil to the water before pouring it over the rocks or into the aromatherapy stone cup on top of the heater for a slow diffusion.
Step 2: COLD (2-5 minutes)
• Step outside and breathe in the crisp winter air.
• Roll in the snow, pour cold water over your head, or simply stand outside until the heat leaves your body.
Step 3: RELAX (30 minutes)
• Head inside to the Larimar Retreat to unwind.
• Enjoy a warm drink from the Keurig machine (tea, coffee, or hot chocolate).
• Play music on the Bluetooth speakers, controlled by Alexa.
• Relax in a hammock, play a game of billiards, table tennis, or cards, or simply lounge and soak in the experience.
REPEAT – Complete steps 1, 2, and 3 three times for maximum benefits.
Step 4: RELAX IN THE HOT TUB (15-30 minutes)
• End your experience with a soothing soak in the Nordic spa tub, allowing your body to fully relax and absorb the benefits of the cycle
Outdoor Kitchen
The Larimar is perfectly located adjacent to the covered outdoor kitchen, if you want to prepare your own hot meals on-site (breakfast, lunch or dinner), you can get access to the covered 200 sq. ft. outdoor kitchen. It includes:
- A built in BBQ grill with rotisserie on granite countertop
- A Griddle accessory for the BBQ grill that allows you to cook pancakes, eggs, bacon, stir fry, etc. on the grill
- 2 side burners stove
- A large soup pot
- A pot set
- BBQ utensils
- Picnic bench
Overnight Accommodations (2 Night Minimum)
If you wish to stay overnight, we also offer overnight accommodations for up to 20 guests in 2 chalets. The first chalet has 6 bedrooms with 8 beds and 2 pull out sofas. The second chalet has 3 bedrooms with 5 beds and 1 pull out sofa. Both chalets offer magnificent views of the lake.
Lakeside and Natural Setting
What sets this place apart is the tranquil natural setting with tall trees next to the beautiful lake. The property has seven acres and has it own private trail running through the property. This is the perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Come and enjoy this beautiful oasis.
